WE GOT £47,000 WE
GOT £47,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's true, the very kind
people at Sport England have generously given us £47,000, way above the
£35,000 we were hoping to get! Work should be gin within the next few
weeks clearing the site! Check back for more information soon! A big
thank-you goes out to Richard Bartley who argued our case to the grant

£25,000!!!!
Fundraising Total: £10,058.71 <- REACHING THE
5 FIGURE MARK!!
Stalham Town Council grant: £8,100.00
Norfolk Rural Community Council grant: £7,000.00
Running Total: £25,158.71 (towards the target
of £60,000) 03/09/03
Finally we've updated the site and a lot of things have happened in
that time. The biggest thing has to be passing the £10,000 mark through
independent fundraising, bringing our overall total over £25,000!!!!
A shop has been started next to the 'Munch Box' in Stalham and is open
9:30 - 4:30 (1:30 on Wed) and is selling bic-a-brac and jumble.
The A.G.M meeting is on Monday 6th October ao Stalham Skatepark Project
will be 1 year old! - Tom

Great news! As you well know, we were asking Stalham Town Council
for a contribution, to allow us to lay the surface. For this we needed
about £3,000 to reach the required amount. They decided against a
donation, and opted to pay for the entire surface to be constructed! So
this summer, we will see the dream become reality! - Tom 22/05/03

As some of you may have noticed, this site has been a little dodgy
over the past few week. I think everything is back to working order now,

Good news! We have been awarded a grant of £7,000! (thank-you Norfolk
Rural Community Council) Unfortunately, this will only be transferred to
us once we have the surface down. For this will will need around
£12,000. As you can see below, we have just under half of the required
amount, but, we are in the process of obtaining a significant
amount of money from Stalham Town Council, putting us a huge step
towards our goal! We'll keep you posted on all of the details as soon as

The web-site is now online!!! At long last, Stalham Skatepark
Project has an official web-site! Being the designer of this site, it
will be me who will now keep you informed of our progress. From dates of
events to what the skatepark will be made of, you will now know. Enjoy!
